Clear Out the Clutter

If you are like me, you have way too much stuff.  The one thing that I am doing now is clearing out the clutter.  I am going to have a garage sale and I’m sure someone else will thinks it’s a treasure.

There is something freeing about cleaning up excess.  This is a good time of year to go through your home and get rid of stuff you don’t need.  Take one closet, one room, one thing at a time so you are not overwhelmed.

You will be amazed at how good you feel.  You may even want to start inviting people over again.  How awesome is that?!

Tonight is the Night!

I am sure there are those that read this and wonder why we get so excited about Passover.  What’s there not to get excited about?  You have a feast as big as Thanksgiving, you get to drink four glasses of wine and you get to be with family and friends.

But, on a more serious note, this is also the time we remember when God delivered us out of the land of Egypt and from the hand of Pharoah.  He showed us, and the Egyptians, His wonders.  Have you really thought about how awesome that would have been?

God stills delivers us from evil circumstances.  He is the same God from yesterday, who is today and will be tomorrow.  We can cry out to Him and He stills answers our prayers.  He is a God who loves us and gave His very life to save us.  Think about dying for someone who hates your guts.  This is exactly what Yeshua did.

Not only did He die to save us, but He also wants to give us an abundance in our lives.  Abundance in every area: in our souls, in our circumstances, in our relationships, in our finances, in our bodies…you fill in the blanks.

People really want to know who Yeshua is.  They just don’t realize how good He really is and ignore His words.  They don’t realize that what He said is true.  They haven’t seen His power manifested in the church.  But, that is changing.  God is waking up the church to do the same as when He was here.  Yeshua said that we will do the same as He did, but in greater measure.  This means people WILL be healed, they WILL be raised from the dead, they WILL come to know Him in a personal way, and they WILL tell others.  People want to see that God is alive and moving.  They don’t want dead religion, a set of do’s and don’t’s.  They want love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, kindness, faithfulness  and self-control.  Hmmm, doesn’t Galatians 5: 22 & 23 say that?

People want reality, they don’t want dead words.  So church, wake up!  This is our finest hour!  Don’t miss an opportunity to show who Yeshua really is.  Remember, He is better than we think He is.
